Difference between Real Gold and Fake Gold
Results have shown out that it is quite easy to tell whether the gold is real or fake. One of the most important tests you can apply is by using a magnet. It is well known that gold is not magnetic and therefore if the material holds or pulls towards the magnet then it is not the real gold.
Better still, you can determine the density of the material to know whether it is gold or not. You should bear in mind that the k real density of gold is 19.3 grams/mL. If the material weighs less or higher than the available weight, then it appears to be fake gold.
However, you can still determine the gold by using a classic plate and rubbing the gold against it. You will find out that the real gold will leave a golden streak in it while the fake gold will leave a black streak in the plate.
